OK folks this is serious... I updated to #LineageOS 16 and now the phone keeps telling me I have no SIM card... Is there a fix for this?
Model: Samsung a5y17lte
Flash metod: manually from TWRP (adb sideload would hang forever)
Any help will be very appreciated (I'm doing my research in the meantime!)

UPDATE: an unknown hero packaged a TWRP-flashable version of both the #Oreo modem firmware and bootloader and now I have my SIM card back.
If you own a #Samsung a5y17lte and lost both #IMEI and baseband after updating to #LineageOS 16 feel free to reach out to me, I'll be glad to share what I learned.

@Sparky hey, I'll share the flashable package with you later.
Just place it in your phone main storage and boot into TWRP. Then flash the zip package and you're good to go.
NB. The package offers two options, only the Oreo one worked for me, but your milage may vary so keep that in mind if the first run doesn't work.

I found an unofficial build of Lineage 17.1 for our phones and flashed that a few mins ago hoping that it would fix the SIM issue...but guess what...lol...I don't need to say it. Hi Anitanicusal just wanted to find out if you have shared the flashable package which fixes the sim issue on Lineage OS 16.
UPDATE 2: I also found a flashable zip that installs #UnifiedNLP as a system app without a hitch. Feel free to ask if you are finding it hard to peoperly set up geolocation on your device
