Estamos buscando traductores de español para traducir una guía de Mastodon que hemos producido!

Si quieres ayudar,

...esta es la página con la guía en inglés - rame.altervista.org/mastostart

...y esta es la página de traducción con toda la información que necesitas - pad.cisti.org/p/MastodonStartp

Gracias a todos!

@Ca_Gi He estado por crowdin.com/translate/mastodon…

En castellano y en catalán intentando sobre todo adaptar la terminología.

TO TOOT: BRAMAR, BARRITAR

TIMELINE: CRONOLOGÍA

STATUS: ESTADO ESTAT

Pero si por lo que sea no se acepta, es tontería traducir con esa guía.

¿A quien se pregunta si se va a decidir que si se traducen esos términos - o no - para procecder con el resto?

@mitcoes Hi! Excuse me if I answer in english but I can't speak spanish :-/
Anyway, in the next day we will discuss and decide certain details about the translation. If you have suggestions, please write 'em at the bottom of the pad. Gracias!! 🙂

@Ca_Gi My suggestion si to TRANSLATE
- look at google translator and RAE diccionario they are the spanish (and catalan( words for this english terms-

TOOT to BARRITAR and or BRAMAR - less accurate but shorter -

TIMELINE to CRONOLOGÍA

STAUTS to ESTADO (cas) and ESTAT (cat)

What you are doing now is to use the english terms and "spanishish" it

For your understanding the actual terms are as if in the other way it would have been to not translate BARRITAR to "to TOOT", and pseudo translate it to "to BARRIT" to make it sound "as english".

@mitcoes Yep. The fact is that in our team there are no spanish-speakers and many contributors are also not spanish speakers.

In the last days many new people from Spain joined Mastodon and we are receiving more feedback now than in the previuos month.

In the next days we will coordinate all of this!
