In questi giorni ho letto uno dei capitoli di questo saggio https://networkcultures.org/blog/publication/the-eternal-network/ e l'ho trovato davvero illuminante nel modo in cui ha messo in evidenza alcune delle caratteristiche del #fediverso. Specie in confronto alle dinamiche degli ultimi 20 anni e rotti.
Il capitolo è quello di pag. 124: "Seven theses on the Fediverse and the becoming of FLOSS".

@thomasrenkert @quinta @dagoneye @fabiogiglietto You can downloada the PDF. I looked into it, read three of the seven theses. I agree to some stuff, but it's quite theoretical and the first good network seems to be mastodon. Gnu Social is not even mentioned. I used it for many years. Worked quite well, we were a global community. Not worth to mention as one of the pioneers?
