It's spelled one of two ways, either "antisemitism" or the generally preferred modern term is "Jew hate" or "Jew hatred"

The other spelling "anti-semitism" is actually a dog whistle.

Sometimes I wish I were privileged enough that I could be anti-capitalist or against nation states.

But I'm not that privileged, so it's not worth thinking about.

It's not antisemitic to discuss Israel's actions during a wartime conflict.

Is *is* antisemitic if the only country whose wartime actions you discuss is Israel and when you do it, you call back to antisemitic tropes.

It's also antisemitic to boost such posts.

I feel very defeated.

The NY State ACLU put out an antisemitic tweet associated with an investigative report about Jews this week.

Is the US just unsafe for Jews at this point? Do I have any real hope of being able to return to NYC one day?

I know a lot of Fediverse folks are hated for just being who they are. If you feel comfortable doing so, if this is you, how do you handle it? What do you do to cope?
