Every walled garden startup seeks to establish a monopoly as a middleman connecting users and sellers. First they loss-lead and/or fake shit to attract users, then their capture of users obliges sellers to likewise become captured. Once this monopolistic middleman position is obtained, the only way to make a profit is to undermine the quality of the connection for both sides.
Billions of VC money drives this cycle, but hope lies in how shitty the gardens become.

@dise anche io ci vedo pigrizia, ma ci vedo anche la necessità banale di raggrupparsi dietro luoghi comuni e parole chiave collaudate, anche se completamente staccati dal contesto.
Molta gente ormai si è ridotta a vivere l'essere di sinistra in chiave tribale, come semplice appartenenza a un sottogruppo sociale sulla base di discorsi mai fatti o peggio totalmente fittizi. Qualcosa di simile a una religione decadente, basata su testi sacri particolarmente illeggibili.
Secondo me l'unica via di uscita è aumentare tutti la quantità e l'intensita dello scontro dialettico, fare allegramente a pancate finche non capiamo cosa siamo e cosa non siamo.

Chissà che piega prenderebbero i putinisti-pacifisti in caso di reale (ancora abbastanza improbabile) allargamento del conflitto alle nostre lande. Quanta leggerezza nel condannare la solidarietà internazionale alla resistenza ucraina in nome della "pace", per "evitare la guerra mondiale nucleare". Consentire a Putin di compiere il suo genocidio non eviterà nessuna guerra, la può soltanto accelerare.
Alla maggiorparte dei putinisti italiani non viene niente in tasca dal sostenere il genocidio. Lo fanno solo per evitare la fatica di raggiungere una qualche maturità politica, per restare nella bambagia di luoghi comuni superati dalla storia, per non affrontare la realtà. Dei maledetti nostalgici.

Half of all plastics ever manufactured have been made in the last 15 years. During Covid, when oil demand fell- companies ramped up plastic production to compensate. We need to seriously start limiting production and start recycling as much of it as poss for adaptation purposes.
