@nikadubrovsky I'm unfortunately ill-informed about Russia in the first half of the 19th century. (And most of the second.)

I have lived all my life among unfamiliar cultures, changing countries of residence for 30 years, and my knowledge of all historical eras and national histories is very sketchy. I have to get used to the constant uncertainty.

Any person who has been nomadic through their life circumstances does the same.

Having moved from Las Vegas to Spokane to rural Eastern Washington, and been a part of many smaller communities within those places, a significant part of my time and energy has been spent trying to pick apart and navigate the interface between my own understanding of the world, and that of everyone around me, wherever I am.
