Rant: there is no mouse worse than Apple's bullshit mice. The scrollwheel keeps failing and right click is for some reason disabled by default. Of course they're probably $50 or something, and my workplace keeps replacing them instead of getting a $20 mouse that works.

I decided to switch to protonmail when my mail server died because "they can do a better job than I can, it will be easier, more private, and it's worth the added cost".
Of course they can't fucking receive some of my emails, including login tokens for discord & my bank.

I just typed, in an email to their customer support, that unless they can solve this issue I'll just go back to hosting my own email server because "it seems less of a headache"

@wgahnagl actually pretty noce and accessible. If you're blind you can actually use money now! Also easier for machines to sort. Having all your banknotes of the same shape, size, color is... weird and sorta stupid

@GustavinoBevilacqua altrimenti server 'moderni' che non si affidino a chrome/firefox almeno per il backend non credo esistano. Puoi buttarti sul solo testo e usare elinks, ma non lo definirei usabile nel 2020. Io uso qutebrowser che è piuttosto leggero, ma si basa comunque su chromium.

@conatus I recommend the Linux/Unix Server Administrator Handbook. You can just skim the relevant chapters for whatever question you have, it's an extensive guide that will answer all your questions

@zeppe premetto di essere nuovo su bida e non conosco bene il contesto.
Se invece di astrologia si fosse trattato di discorsi antivax, sarebbe stato diverso? Personalmente ho sempre pensato di avere un dovere morale di mandare gli antivax a fanculo pubblicamente, perché molto pericolosi. Astrologia, religione, e antivax non sono molto diverse a livello cognitivo, nel senso che si basano su 'fede' piuttosto che 'scienza'. Perché è giusto bullizzare una e non le altre? Solo perché una è pericolosa in pratica e le altre in teoria? Chi decide?
Non so bene cosa pensare. Per ora fanculizzo gli antivax e ignoro gli altri... però non sono soddisfatto con questo approccio. Forse bullizzare chi non crede nella scienza sarebbe giusto e importante. Forse sarebbe orribile e autoritario. Bah.
