When the police violence happened in Jamia, and AMU, I was very clear, that a precedent had been set, on how the state can treat students now. This is a culmination of a long project in which students have been demonized, ostracized, and de-humanized, so when terrorist, and masked rioters with iron rods, and sticks, beat them up, there is no help, there is no sympathy, so that there are people who say, 'acha hua'. Please join in as many protests ✊ as you can, if not atleast express your support via social media to those protesting and also push those bhakt trolls away, thats the least you can do.

This was a planned, state-sponsored attack on #JNU when all other attempts to break the struggle of the students had failed, and when a compromise solution was clearly in sight. The Modi-Shah government wants JNU destroyed.
