When the police violence happened in Jamia, and AMU, I was very clear, that a precedent had been set, on how the state can treat students now. This is a culmination of a long project in which students have been demonized, ostracized, and de-humanized, so when terrorist, and masked rioters with iron rods, and sticks, beat them up, there is no help, there is no sympathy, so that there are people who say, 'acha hua'.
