To prune or not to prune? O perchè se lo userebbe con `find`?
Command being timed: "find /home/desantis/xfs_storage/ -type d ( -name *thunderbird_* -o -name *.local* ) -prune -o -print"
User time (seconds): 0.20
System time (seconds): 0.11
Percent of CPU this job got: 94%
Elapsed (wall clock) time (h:mm:ss or m:ss): 0:00.33
Command being timed: "find /home/desantis/xfs_storage/ -type d ( ! -wholename /home/desantis/xfs_storage/*thunderbird_* -a ! -wholename /home/desantis/xfs_storage/.local* ) -print"
User time (seconds): 0.28
System time (seconds): 0.17
Percent of CPU this job got: 99%
Elapsed (wall clock) time (h:mm:ss or m:ss): 0:00.45
È ovvio che il primo command è più chiaro e più veloce del secondo. Ci sono esempi semplici, ma è facile ad estendere l'usage!
