Unpopular opinion: in this house the jury is out regarding the excellence of Severance.
It is weird alright, and it makes me go “WTF?” a lot. Is that in itself good? Is that the good part? Is the “brilliance” that it can’t be understood?
Or have people identified a story arc that I have completely missed, where some things actually make sense as a chain of actions?
To me it is “watching strange people do strange things in a strange environment for unknown reasons”. Is that the definition of good these days? I am starting to think I will never get these hours back…is this what I wish to fill them with?
