Yesterday morning at 05:30 am our twitter assistant found this little #newt on his to #work #hedgewatch at the entrance of the basement 
It was washed there by the heavy #rain in the #night. Our #neighbours with the #pond allowed it to move in

Not that I've never seen a red squirrel before, but they are a much rarer sighting than the ubiquitous gray squirrel around here, so it was a pleasant occurrence when this one showed up this morning.
