As a long-time fan of strategy games and a UX designer, I spent a lot of time trying to design a game that would make cooperation fun and compelling, yet I found it an almost impossible task without resorting to external "enemies" like state, police or corporations, thus merely repeating the conflict narrative in a slightly different format.
Peace, abundance, freedom are, by their own nature, uneventful and thus very hard to wrap in an interesting narrative.

This is an essential paragraph in my opinion. We need to find a way to frame peace, cooperation, abundance and freedom from oppression in a compelling narrative, otherwise we will be meaningless
