For one, America doesn't protect "the world", they protect their partners, trade networks, partners, AND THAT'S WHY AMERICA IS AT THE TOP (or was).

@JayinKyiv yes they promulgate the myth that they protect Europe, but there are about 65,000 Americans in uniform in Europe. That compares with about 2 million Europeans in uniform in Europe.

The only reason the Americans are in Europe is to give them refuelling basis to strike the Middle East and Russia.
Of course now they’re friends with Russia and Israel they probably don’t need Europe
