In the spirit of true liberation, I proudly identify as a Pirate and an Anarcho-syndicalist, and I stand firmly against:

- Racism: I reject all forms of racial superiority and discrimination, advocating for equality among all people.

- Authoritarianism: I do not want oppressive governments that seek to control and suppress individual freedoms.

- Capitalism: I do not support the exploitative capitalist system that prioritizes profit over human needs.

- Fascism: I vehemently denounce fascist ideologies that foster hate and division among the working class.

- Nationalism: I reject the artificial boundaries that nationalism creates, promoting unity among all peoples.

- Patriarchy: I oppose structures that perpetuate gender inequality, advocating for liberation and equality for all genders.

- State Power: I do not want centralized power; I advocate for self-management and decentralized communities.

- Censorship: I do not accept censorship in any form; I believe in the right to share ideas freely.

- Exploitation: I fight against all forms of exploitation—economic, social, and environmental—seeking a just world for future generations.

Together, we can work towards a society based on voluntary cooperation, where workers unite to dismantle oppressive systems and create a better future.

Supressing certain individual freedoms, which would naturally require centeralized power and the application of censorship, would be necessary in a post-capitalist society to prevent the restoration of capitalism. In a post-capitalist society, if reactionaries who want the restoration of capitalism are allowed to freely create reactionary groups, publish reactionary literature, and openly advocate for the restoration of capitalism, then it will only be a matter of time until...1/2

...the people of this society, who would have grown up under capitalism and would still be susceptible to capitalist lies and propaganda, join the reactionaries in demolishing the new post-capitalist society and returning to the old and familiar prison of capitalism. Limiting the freedoms of reactionaries who want to destroy everything that the revolution has built is something that has to happen in order for the revolution to actually be successful. 2/2

@Radical_EgoCom @midtsveen if censorship and propaganda are needed to make socialism work, then it means that times are not mature as the material reality is just not there.
Assuming that we need a propaganda regime to make socialism work means completely disregard the material reason why capitalism needs to be replaced.

It is capitalism that, at this stage, needs a powerful propaganda and coercion machinery to drug people into consumerism.

@zassenhaus @midtsveen

A system implementing censorship and propaganda is not an indication that material reality is against its existence. Whether it is or not depends on whether that system can find a way to exist, regardless of what that way is. If the system can exist without the use of censorship and propaganda, then the material reality is in favor of it existing. If the system can exist only with the use of censorship and propaganda, then the material reality is in favor of it existing.

@Radical_EgoCom @midtsveen

A system that does not need censorship and propaganda has more possibilities to survive than a system that needs those (all else equal).

@zassenhaus @midtsveen

A claim without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

@Radical_EgoCom @midtsveen it's something obvious, given the appropriate Venn Diagramm construction. The loophole in my previous argument might be the "all else equal", which is of very limited practical relevance for a revolutionary in search for their Red October chance, but might average out during the timescales at which the production relationships that are at the base of the system change.
