Bulgaria proposes to host a centre for shipping control in the Black Sea.

Bulgaria proposes to form and host a multinational maritime coordination centre providing surveillance and early warnings for potential threats to ensure the safety of shipping in the western part of the Black Sea.

The idea was presented by Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov after yesterday's "Peace and Security for Ukraine" meeting in Paris.

Russia and Ukraine agree to Black Sea ceasefire deal.

The US has also pledged to help restore Russian agricultural exports, which have been crippled by international sanctions since the February 2022 invasion.

The agreement, reached after three days of deliberations clouded by skepticism, is the first of its kind since July 2022.
