Fascism is on the rise, in the US advancing fast – but it’s happening all over the world. Especially trans people are under immediate threat. The U.S. Departement of Health and Human Services asks people to rat out trans kids and their families. Meanwhile in the UK, the highest court ruled just last week that the legal definition of ‘woman’ excludes trans women. Sadly, transphobia has a history in ‘feminism’ [> must read: «Enemy Feminist» from Sophie Lewis @reproutopia]. Therefore the umbrella term ‘feminism’ always has to be specified as antifascist among many other demands!

We need to speak out and we need to fight fascism, because we can't allow history to repeat itself.

Je viens d’écouter un podcast glaçant en 2 parties; dans la 1ère, on dépeint le mythe d’Althusser auteur d’un « meurtre d’amour » ou de compassion…
Or, dans la 2e, on rétablit les faits: on montre qu’il s’agit là d’un véritable féminicide. Et ce, 35 ans après les faits. Quelle dégelée! 😱

L'homme de 41 ans l'aurait poignardée avec un couteau. Il a également assassiné la mère de l'enfant, Amandine, âgée de 38 ans.

Les enfants ne sont pas que les victimes collatérales de la violence conjugale, les enfants sont les victimes directes de la violence conjugale.

Apprendre qu'à son suicide, la police n'a pas jugé bon d'ouvrir une enquête. Intersectionality - one of the few terms [for now] that has not been taken over and thrown back at us as an insult. The most vulnerable people are affected by a multitude of discriminations. When a group of so called 'radical feminists' exclude Sex Workers [SWERF] or Transpeople [TERF] it also feels like a takeover of the term: feminism.

Patriarchy is still one of the fundamental structural problems in our societies. It remains the breeding ground for sexist thinking and the blueprint for power from the top down. This collage* is an homage to the famous slogan from more than fifty years ago. During the uprising in May 1968 they wrote the following in the streets of Paris: « Sous les pavés, la plage ! », which translates to: «Under the cobblestones, the beach!». A shout out for freedom and liberation.

With the upcoming Women’s Day on march the eighth, the feeling of rage drives us as we speak out against all ongoing violence and murders/femicides.
