"Reach" is a song by Cuban-American singer and songwriter #GloriaEstefan, released in April 1996 by #EpicRecords. It was co-written by Estefan with #DianeWarren and served as the official theme song of the #1996SummerOlympics held in Atlanta, #Georgia in the #UnitedStates. The single was included on the official #Atlanta1996 album, Rhythm of the Games, and later on Estefan's seventh studio album, #Destiny (1996). It became a European hit.

Side note: I've realised that by using the brand name "Destiny Church", I'm dignifying it in ways it doesn't deserve.

I grew up in a church community. Later, as a militantly atheist teenager, I helped a few of my friends deprogram themselves after being recruited by evangelical cults. I know the difference between a church and a cult.

I still know a few church-going Christians. I have my disagreements with some of their philosophies, but the churches they go to are not cults. #Destiny is.

It might be insightful to look at Destiny cult ("church") in the light of Umberto Eco's classic essay on what he called "ur-fascism";

Destiny's traditionalism is typical biblical fundamentalism; "truth" is spelled out in the Bible, particularly the Old Testament.
